The Bentonville Film Festival (BFF) returns to Northwest Arkansas on May 1-6 with an exciting lineup of exclusive film screenings, studio premieres, industry panels, headlining concerts, parties, A-list guests and more.

Founded by Academy Award-winning actress Geena Davis and Inclusion Companies CEO Trevor Drinkwater, BFF shines a light on the female and minority filmmakers who are blazing trails in media and the entertainment industry.
BFF supports the creation and production of film and media with realistic portrayals of gender and diversity. It’s the only such film festival to guarantee theatrical, television, digital and retail home-entertainment distribution to a select winner.
Last year, BFF drew an estimated 75,000 people to Northwest Arkansas, with much of the festival taking place around downtown Bentonville. Look for community events like outdoor family films, a Cinco de Mayo celebration, a regional bike ride/movie adventure and, for the first time this year, film screenings at Bentonville’s new Skylight Cinema.

New for 2018 will be BFF’s Legacy Series, which was inspired by the success of last year’s 25th anniversary screening of the 1992 film “A League of Their Own,” which starred BFF founder Davis. The Legacy Series will feature past pioneering films that have changed the conversation about diversity in entertainment.
A-list celebrities are also known to show up in restaurants and pubs around NWA during festival time. Last year, BFF welcomed notable guests including Meg Ryan, William H. Macy, Judy Greer, Patty Jenkins, Terry Crews and Jewel. So, be on the lookout!
